just watched free solo, it inspired me alot. i've always love climbing things. sense 4 i was scaling 50-60 foot trees, which isnt as hard as this. but im finally getting into bouldering at 15. i just got climbing shoes, which i like climbing barefoot but wtv. everytime i see smth climbable i try to climb it.

I seriously hate the start of this lead, because it feels to me that it kinda violates the whole idea behind the category of this type of climb, right? It should start easy and get progressively harder. So the start should not cause this many climbers so much trouble. Maybe I'm wrong for saying this but it feels like the route setters screwed up with this one. This feels like the start of a boulder, not the start of a lead.

The first ascent of the nose was done by a 5 foot woman with a negative ape index. It only stops you if you believe it will, there's always a way, atleast outdoors.

Tip - that spray is loaded with harsh chemicals and will be absorbed when you sweat into the skin. Use isopropyl alcohol, it evaporates totally off leaving no residue. Stay healthy!
